Wood delivery - is this normal?

From a local lumber yard in town. Stacked about a cord and a half, there should be a half cord left. I’ll be blunt, this seems like a lot of shit excess mixed in. I am doubtful there is a half cord in there under all of it, and it’s going to be a PITA to clean up.

Is this normal, or am I over reacting? First year.
